The second tip is giving the children the language that is used when it comes to environmental issues, defining concepts like biodiversity, carbon neutral, ecosystems and greenhouses gases. For children, learning the language is important because of the popularity of using these words in the media. If they understand what these words mean, it'll make them more aware of what is going on in the world!
I would recommend this book for children between the ages of 8 and 12. A great resource for teachers who are looking for idea to teach children about this subject.
